Why is it that some folks always succeed at everything they do. The old saying is: “Everything he or she touches turns to gold” you have heard this…right? Have you ever thought about why this is? Is it just luck, or is there something to this?

The cold hard truth is that most never will succeed because they never set goals, and if they do they never stick with those goals (THEY NEVER TAKE ACTION). Success is more than setting goals, it is about taking massive action on those goals and doing things that most others will never do, like getting uncomfortable, getting out of your comfort zone, not letting a no from someone upset you and stop you.

Some see success much faster than others, and there is one reason for that…it’s called “knowledge“. The folks that are reading and studying the field they are involved with and understanding that field is huge. The ones with the most knowledge are the ones that are going to see the better success faster. Knowledge about running a business Vs having a job is another huge benefit. In school they teach us how to get a degree and get a job, and really that is how to stay Just Over Broke. No offense but really name me anyone that works a job that has ever done anything great with their lives like helping others succeed, or giving to the needy, or giving to good causes, or giving to their family’s that need help. The ones that read and learn from successful people that have already reached the top of the mountain and have gained financial independence through a business of their own are the ones that give the best advice. Taking advise from those that work jobs will keep you working a job.

The bottom line is that you cannot teach what you don’t do yourself. Just think how much better our world would be if the school systems actually taught folks how to be truly success, and how to have a successful business of their own. Of course they can’t teach what they don’t know, right? Why do they work a job? It is all they know, and remember you cannot teach what you don’t know!

It all boils down to the people we hang out with, and the books we read. KNOWLEDGE and ASSOCIATION is Powerful! No offense here folks, but common sense tells us that if we hang out with broke people we will be broke. If we hang out with folks that work jobs then that’s what we will be doing. If we hang out with ditch diggers then we will more than likely be just that too. If we hang out with financially independent and successful people we will become financially independent and successful.

The point is…that we typically become who we hang out with, and most folks will NEVER reach their full potential because of who they hang out with. People at the job aren’t talking about freedom, big houses, fancy cars, going on exotic trips and vacations all over the world, or sleeping to 10 or 11am every day because they don’t have to wake to a alarm clock. Instead they talk about how bad they have it, or they can’t pay their bills, or the soap operas they watch on the idiot box daily. People on the job aren’t talking about where they are going, but instead they are talking about where they have been, or telling the same old story’s for the 90th time, or the home run they hit years and years ago. Pre-Play the Future, and STOP Replaying the Past.

Here are some things to think about:

• Where will you be 5 years from now?

• Will the vehicle you are currently using get you where you want to be in 5 years?

• Where will you be 5 years from now if you keep doing what you are currently doing?

• Do you think that by doing the same as you have been doing will keep getting you what you have been getting?

• Are you getting a cost of living raise every year?

• Are you continuing to go backwards every year?

• Are you any closer to your goals and dreams than you was at this time last year?

• Are you afraid of change?

• Does your Income continue to come in whether you work or not?

Some will succeed, and most never will. Which one will you be? We ALL Control our Own Destiny!
